Son Rabassa is an old agricultural estate located in the municipality of Sant Joan. It is located between Sant Joan and Petra, 1km from the exit of the town, next to Son Perdut and Es Calderers. There is already news about the existence of this farm dating back to the 15th century. Since then, Son Rabassa has been owned by our family.

The house is located next to a small mound that protects it from the Tramontana (the north wind) and faces south, in the middle of fruit trees, cereals and pine forests.

In its origin, agriculture and sheep herding were the main activities, a good example of this are the tools and farm implements that are preserved thanks to the passion and work that the current owner, Antonio Galmés, has done for their conservation and restoration.

Son Rabassa has large gardens and terraces that the traveler can enjoy, strolling among typical fruit trees of the area, such as orange trees, whose fruit can be tasted in season, olive, fig or almond trees.

The house, which preserves the typology of a Mallorcan farmhouse, was built on the top of a promontory, from where you can see stunning views of the Pla de Mallorca and no less than five hermitages: El Santuario de Consolació, Bonany, Cura , Sant Salvador and Montisión. Just opposite, just two kilometers away, you can see the “Es Calderers” finca.

Its location, in the center of the island of Mallorca, allows you to comfortably visit the main attractions of the island, as well as various beaches of great natural beauty. And, all this, enjoying the tranquility and privacy typical of a Mallorcan finca.

Son Rabassa is, therefore, a place where you can relax, get to know Mallorca and be in contact with nature with your friends and family.

The house is decorated and equipped with rustic furniture. It has 2 floors, the main one being the ground floor. On the upper floor are the Fenoll and Espígol rooms. It has 5 bedrooms (all exterior), 5 bathrooms (4 en suite and one on the main floor), a large living room, hall, two kitchens (interior and exterior) and pantry.

It is surrounded by two large terraces, both with a porch. The front terrace has a large uncovered and very sunny part. Going down the stairs you access the pool.
